The main level of this stunning home is designed with an open concept floor plan, featuring a gourmet kitchen and large family room that flow seamlessly onto a fantastic deck. From here, you can take in breathtaking views of the valley and Gold Mountain.
The spacious and lavishly appointed master suite, also located on this main level, shares in these incredible views.

Three additional bedrooms adjoin the game room, all featuring en-suite Jack & Jill bathrooms. These bedrooms, three out of four in the house, also share spectacular views.

Guests’ Rules
Welcome to the rules for The Lodge at Timberline Trail Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
- Maximum Occupancy: 16 guests (10 adults max).
- Parking: Space for 4 vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
- Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
- Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
- Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction. (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
- Air Conditioning: None. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
- Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
- Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
- Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
- No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
- If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Age: Minimum booking age is 24.
- Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
- Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.
Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.
Note: Any eviction will result in the loss of your security deposit and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Great view beautiful house fully occupied
We enjoyed the house had lots of entertainment for our teens and it was clean and suited our needs.
AMAZING DECK
Check-in was easy and communication was perfect. The house was very good, there are 2 living rooms, great kitchen and an amazing deck where we spent a lot of time at from star gazing to bbq. TVs were newer than on the pictures and are present in every room. I wish there would be a pool table and a few board games in the house for additional entertainment. Other than that the place was clean and cozy, with nice landscaping in front of the house.
EXCEPTIONAL
We originally booked a different spot in Big Bear but it was cancelled about a week and a half prior to our check in date which left us frantically searching for another cabin. We found this one and we we’re actually glad that the previous hosts cancelled on us! This property was BEAUTIFUL! It has a great view on the deck, lots of space in the kitchen/dining area, and an awesome game room area. I’m not sure if this was posted in the listing but some of the sofas were actually pullout sofa beds. No one slept on the couch or floor. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Beautiful home, and easy to get to when snowing. Quiet setting with plenty of room for our big family. Outstanding view and they even decorated for the holiday. Fantastic trip, thanks for sharing your home.

This cabin is amazing! It literally has everything for the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Extra towels, sheets, pillows. The home has a very special touch. Good vibes. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. This is the top of the line neighborhood in my opinion for Big Bear. Lots of beautiful houses around and it was fun to walk the streets. The view was pretty and the location was close to shopping. I thought this would be a great house for families with children as you have 2 separate living spaces one up and one down the stairs. Have fun.

This is a great home to stay in. Communication with the host is awesome. They are very nice and flexible. I stayed here with my family and we all loved the place. We were so comfortable that we didn't want to go outside. Our teenage girls enjoyed the game room downstairs so much that they slept their, played their, did their distance learning there and just simply hung out. The neighborhood is new, with a fantastic view to the lake. I highly recommend it. We are definitely returning, either in the Winter or Summer.

The views from the verandas and from the interior of this gorgeous house are spectacular. The lake, where we had our morning walks, is a just a short drive. Just being there truly afforded us the peace and quiet we craved for, the multitude of stars to marvel at, and the chirping of the birds in the morning proved to be a welcoming and soothing sound. We received prompt and courteous responses from the management property team when communicating our concerns/questions. Appreciated that! We hope to be back in the winter!”

Extremely spacious even for a large group. My group really enjoyed the second floor game room and there were smart TVs in almost every room. It's close to Snow Play and Snow Summit. Better than the pictures and spectacular view.

I appreciate all the attention they give to each of their guests. Check-in was in person at their office so it was easy to get any questions answered. The cabin was even more impressive in person.
This home was probably the best cabin we've ever stayed in the area.
Everything was very well organized and clean. The hosts were super responsive and went out of their way to get us some sand for the shuffle board and balls for the foosball table. The views are beautiful and the home itself was a nice layout for our family. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We celebrated our mother's 70th Birthday, which was a memorable weekend for all of us. Augustin and Maria communicated with us in a timely manner and were available to our needs. The house was amazing. When we first walked into the house the first thing we fell in love with was the view. The week before our arrival it had snowed so the view was amazing. The layout of the house was more than enough room for all out 16 guests. Everything was local and the house was in a lovely location. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. We really recommend this place and we definitely will book again.

The house is beautiful (better than the pictures), the location is central (close to literally everything), and SoCal Vacations was so accommodating and communicative to all our requests and questions. We came with a group of 16 and there was more than enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Timberline Trail is very spacious and clean.
It is well taken care of. It sits atop of the mountain looking down on Big Bear Blvd. I love all the trees and seclusion/privacy. The game room was wonderful, the grandchildren enjoyed every bit of it. This home met all of our needs and some.

We had such an amazing time at this property. There was so much to keep us all entertained throughout our entire stay. Everything was as described! Place was clean, and in a great location. We were provided with the essentials. I loved the cabin and would definitely book our stay here again.
