When your eyes turn to the kitchen, you will be amazed. It’s large enough for many chefs to cook at the same time with enough counter space for everyone.

Boasting 2 ovens, and equipped with high-end appliances and an eye-catching chef's stove on the central island, the kitchen invites everyone to gather for memorable meal preparations.

Not to mention, doing dishes in the sink is a dream because of the stunning view out the kitchen windows.

An accessible deck from this level offers a hot tub, where you can soak up and unwind with breathtaking views and fresh mountain air.

The entry level also houses the owner's suite, complete with a full bath and an additional fireplace, an idyllic retreat during chilly winter nights.

Descend to the lower level to discover an expansive game room, outfitted with a pool table for your enjoyment.

Adjacent to it is a nice lounge area, boasting a large TV and a giant, plush couch, setting the stage for movie marathons or thrilling video gaming sessions.

An extra fireplace adds warmth and a cozy ambiance to this entertainment hub. While air conditioning is available for those who prefer to cool down on those warm summer days.

Four more bedrooms provide ample sleeping spaces for your guests. To further enjoy the outdoor scenery, a secondary deck with outdoor seating is connected to this level.

Designed for gatherings, the dining table comfortably seats up to ten guests, with multiple fireplaces adding a cozy touch across the house.

Guests’ Rules

Welcome to the rules for Cooper's Hideaway Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.

*Disclosure- There is construction going on next door, hours of operation are from 8am-6pm Mon-Sat.


  1. Maximum Occupancy: 16 guests (12 adults max).
  2. Parking: Space for vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
  3. Pets: Pets Allowed (Max: 2 pets).
    • Pets require pre-approval: Post-approval, a $125 fee per pet applies (charged post-booking).
    • Unapproved Pets: incur a minimum of a $1,000 fine.
    • Pet Guidelines:
      • Kennel pets when unattended.
      • Keep off furniture/beds.
      • Clean up after them.
      • Charges apply for pet damages.
    • Coyote Warning: Coyotes are extremely prevalent in Big Bear, even in the most densely populated areas. If you see one, you can bet they’re part of an unseen pack. These animals are bold and territorial. They pose a significant threat to pets. For their safety, never leave your pets unattended, even in fenced areas, especially after dark. Coyotes are known for their ability to overcome barriers, including high fences. And they’re even known for attacking pets that are on a leash. We cannot overstate the need for heightened vigilance concerning your pets' safety.
  4. Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
  5. Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction.  (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
  6. Air Conditioning: None. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
  7. Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
  8. Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
  9. Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
  10. No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
    • If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
  11. Age: Minimum booking age is 24. 
  12. Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
  13. Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.

Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.

Note: Any eviction will result in the loss of your security deposit and you will not be entitled to a refund.

What a wonderful experience!

This place has the most amazing views, and easily accommodates a larger group of people. Loved working with Star and their handy man, Jim. They took great care of us! We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much for your help this past weekend 🙂 we had a wonderful time and fell in love with the property. Thanks for letting us stay there. Beautiful house, easy check in/out

This house is enormous and shows in person very much like it appears in the pictures. Everything is in great condition and it is beautifully appointed. Check-in is in person and a few miles away, parking was a challenge for the five minutes it took to get the entry code for the front door. Property managers were very responsive and quickly answered questions. This is an expensive property but we really got what we paid for and a large party will spread the cost nicely. Definitely recommend.

"Cooper's Hideaway was super clean and the beds were all super comfy(I could of as slept through the entire trip 😉 The hot tub had amazing views of the mountains, and was the perfect way to relax after a long day out. What a view!!!!!

What a view!!! This was literally the best view I have had at any Air Bnb in Big Bear, EVER. So breathtaking and beautiful you almost forget how amazing the house is! Everything was beautiful and perfect. We made memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic stay and I hope we can come back soon 🙂

First time in Big Bear and we will definitely be back! The house is very spacious and easily accommodated the 12 of us (plus our 2 trucks and 1 car) without even needing to use the garage. Fully stocked kitchen and outdoor grill made breakfast and dinner a breeze so we could make the most of our time in the house enjoying the amazing views! Communication with the host was excellent! I spoke mostly with Star and they promptly answered any questions and were very accommodating with our late check-in. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to book with SoCal again for our next trip to Big Bear!

Xmas 2022

Our cabin was phenomenal! We were only five minutes from the ski resort, which was awesome and so convenient. Everything in the home was clean and so welcoming from the second we got there they were 11 of us total including my 3 1/2 month old and I felt that the house was so accommodating. Everybody had their own space and settled in nicely. We will definitely be coming back!!!
