Welcome to the Big Bear Wooded Wonder, your serene Big Bear retreat, conveniently located just minutes away from Boulder Bay, Pleasure Point Marina, and nearby convenience stores. This well-appointed cabin extends a warm, woodsy embrace, featuring a hot tub and a myriad of indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces.
The heart of this cabin is the expansive great room. Open, airy, and adorned with wooden floors, the room houses two cozy sitting areas, a wood-burning fireplace, and a cable-equipped TV.
The cabin also provides a loft with a pull-out couch, transforming the space into a comfortable fourth sleeping area.
For those looking for a bit of competitive fun, challenge your companions to a game on the multi-video game table or venture into the game room, a hidden gem offering an array of table games. From foosball and pool to basketball hoops, this detached room is the ideal lounge space complete with a flat-screen TV and DVDs. (Note: The game room is accessible only from the outside.)
Step outside onto the beckoning back deck, where a large hot tub, seating area, and propane barbecue create the perfect setting for relaxing or entertaining.
Within the cabin, the kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances - a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot.
For your convenience, there’s a laundry room and garage featuring a 220v NEMA 14-50 plug for electric car charging add to your convenience.
The main level master suite offers a private haven, furnished with a queen memory foam bed, streaming-ready TV, and a full bathroom.
Upstairs, the loft area provides a lounge sofa and a 3/4 bathroom. Two additional bedrooms, each fitted with a queen memory foam bed, assure a comfortable night's rest.

Guests’ Rules
Welcome to the rules for Big Bear Wooded Wonder Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
- Maximum Occupancy: 10 guests (8 adults max).
- Parking: Space for 3 vehicles, including garage access. (220v NEMA 14-50 plug for electric car charging.) Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
- Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
- Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
- Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction. (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
- Air Conditioning: None. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
- Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
- Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
- Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
- No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
- If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Age: Minimum booking age is 24.
- Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
- Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.
Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.
Note: Any eviction you will not be entitled to a refund.
Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

Our family had a great trip to Big Bear and we really enjoyed this home.
Big and beautiful house
The place it’s really close to the lake, it’s big and beautiful house, we enjoyed a lot the spa and the play room for kids and adults
Family ski trip
Overall a perfect place to stay with kids and teens. The game room and jacuzzi kept us very entertained for the non-ski days. Had enough dishes for everyone. We did mostly takeout so didn't cook, but kitchen looked very well stocked. My only complaint was that we had to actually go into town to ‘check-in'. It was the last thing we wanted to do after a long drive and a little silly since they just took a picture of my drivers license and provided us a piece a paper with the same information that was emailed to me. Besides check-in, the place was in a great location and had everything we needed for a relaxing, cosy getaway.

Winter Wonderland
Beautiful cabin, beautiful views. Lots of space and an amazing game room. Definitely a winter wonderland getaway destination. When you book make sure to check your spam. I was unaware you needed to check-in at the vacation rental location first. Other than not knowing this, everything was beyond amazing, we loved it!
Spacious great location
Property was large spacious, many games and high ceilings. Warm place. Some neighbors were rude when they walked by and our place plus someone stole one of our expensive sleds. However, it was our fault for leaving them outside next to the garage instead of inside. Dining table was amazing tho and just felt like home. Most of all it had a great view to see outside snow. Just a fun house to spend quality time with our kids and family. The owner was nice to let us take the house earlier than 2pm. Very welcoming.
Best Snow Exsperience
The Wooded Wonder property was a really clean, cozy and had everything we needed. It made our first snow experience very pleasant and memorable, we could not have had a better place to enjoy Big Bear ! Thanks for having us !

Tranquility in Big Bear
Came up to Big Bear for a quick last getaway before school started. Everyone enjoyed the house, particularly the game room and the hot tub. Being so close to Pleasure Point Marina was an added plus. Agustin with the management company made checking in and out a breeze.
