Located in Upper Moonridge, one of Big Bear’s most desirable destinations, this cozy, mid-century inspired cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway or an intimate family gathering. This classic A-frame architecture comes with modern interiors and thoughtful upgrades, yet still keeps its cool 70s cabin vibes. Surrounded by trees, this is an ideal escape to the mountains.
The interior of the cabin is very cozy with a wood-burning fireplace, 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, plus a loft for lounging and playing games.
The updated kitchen opens to the dining room and living room, which opens to an expansive 700 sq ft deck equipped with a 6-person hot tub, seating area with firepit, bbq grill, and outdoor dining for up to 8. Enjoy your evenings grilling, hot tubbing and stargazing!

Guests’ Rules
Welcome to the rules for Moonridge Chalet. Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
Maximum Occupancy: 8 guests (8 adults max).
Parking: Space for 4 vehicles. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
Please respect the home and follow the rules, just as you expect timely assistance from us. Many of these rules are city regulations, while others help us maintain the homes in top condition. Our goal is to ensure a great experience for our guests and property owners.
Special house rules:
1. This is a “no shoe” home. Please leave your shoes in the mudroom and snow gear and equipment on the deck.
2. Please set heater at a minimum of 55 degrees. Do not turn off. Any lower and the pipes will freeze and you will be liable for damages.
3. Please do not burn any candles anywhere on the property.
4. Please do not heat any food, including marshmallows/s’mores, in the fireplace or outdoor firepit. Doing so in the firepit will cause the heating element to get clogged, and use in either can result in additional cleaning/repair fees. A small portable tabletop fire bowl is provided for s’mores. Please see additional instructions for use.
5. Please dispose of ashes from the fireplace in the provided metal ash can (located outside the front door). DO NOT DUMP ASHES IN ANY OTHER RECEPTACLE. If you cannot find the metal ash can, please do NOT remove ashes. The cleaners will dispose of the ashes properly.
6. Children may not be left unattended on the deck and especially not in or near the hot tub.
7. Please keep the hot tub cover on when not in use. Do not put anything in the hot tub, including but not limited to, bubble bath, soaps and oils. If the hot tub requires a drain and fill after your stay, you will be responsible for the charges of the service or repair.
8. All trash and recycling must be placed in the bins out front and securely locked to prevent animals from getting in.
9. Please do not rearrange furniture, nor attempt to open locked cabinets and doors. Please do not remove anything from the interior or exterior of the home.
* Check-In: Remote check in after identity verification.
* Parking: Follow city-enforced parking limits. If you need more space, let us know.
* Occupancy: Adhere to the maximum occupancy limits enforced by us and the city. No exceptions.
* Noise: Be respectful to neighbors. Keep music inside and at a low volume. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We have monitoring system in place that reads decibels of noise and notifies you directly and us of loud noises.
* A/C: Most homes do not have air conditioning. Nights are cooler with open windows. This home does not have A/C
* Ants: Clean up after meals to avoid attracting ants. We use traps and sprays, but cleanliness is key.

* Age Requirement: You must be at least 24 years old to book. We do not allow parties. This rule is strictly enforced.
