An attractive feature of the home is its hardwood white oak floors that flow throughout, lending a seamless elegance to the space. The high, vaulted ceilings, enhanced by elaborate custom beams, amplify the grandeur of the living room. Guests’ Rules
Welcome to the rules for Alpine Luxury Retreat Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
- Maximum Occupancy: 13 guests (12 adults max).
- Parking: Space for 4 vehicles, including garage access. (EV charger in garage, please be sure to bring your adaptor just in case.) Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
- Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
- Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
- Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction. (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
- Air Conditioning: None. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
- Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
- Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
- Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
- No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
- If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Age: Minimum booking age is 24.
- Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
- Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.
Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.
Note: Any eviction you will not be entitled to a refund.
Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

A beautiful home with everything a young family needs to have some fun in the snow.
Highly recommend this property for large family.
The owner has really good taste for the house decor and the management team are super professional to address any questions during the stay. The entertainment room has ceiling speaker which makes the movie night joyful!! Dining room and bedroom can hold up whole family which is a huge plus for each one to enjoy weekend time. Stylish home
Stylish home perfect for a getaway trip with friends or family! We had a great time enjoying the stylish house, the amazing jacuzzi and the barbecue grill outside. Location is perfect, five minute drive to the village/ to the lake. Rooms are spacious, there are plenty of towels and all the kitchen condiments/ basic supplies one would need. Host is communicative and very welcoming. On par with a five-star resort stay. Would definitely return!

This is absolutely a wonderful house and good place for enjoying your events with your friends and family. Place was very clean and luxurious. Great location and great value. Beautiful decorations for your fancy pictures 😉 New jacuzzi was wonderful!!! House was loaded with everything. I want to thank you very much for providing such an amazing house! I would recommend everyone to come to Augustine’s place. He was very helpful and responding so quickly! Would definitely stay there again and 100% recommend!

Augustine was super responsive to help with any issues. I truly recommend this home to everyone coming to Big Bear! We will definitely be booking again for our next trip.
Boujie Alpine Home!
The house is exactly as the photos show! Very cute and trendy inside and different than any other cabin/house in Big Bear. All rooms were spacious with plenty of rooms to sleep in! Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Family room is comfortable and the TV has everything from Hulu to Disney plus which was great. Dining table, fireplace and the couch in front of the window is a beautiful area to relax and watch the kiddos playing outside. Just FYI- the room with the 4 beds is upstairs which I wasn't aware of but it worked out just fine. Would definitely stay at this home again in the future.

The only downside (if you even want to call it that) is the front yard faces the main road and the gate is not enclosed so with kids around, you cannot let down your guard. But it was such a relaxing yard! We went in the month of June and it was perfect. The kitchen has more than needed gadgets utensils Very well stocked! the living room is open to the kitchen. It's hard to get a feel of the layout based on pictures but it's actually bigger and more open feeling than the pictures show. The furnishings are as nice as the pictures show, if not better. Highly recommend this place!”

Big and spacious. House is bigger than I thought Very responsive and flexible host. Agustin and the team were always there when needed. Definitely recommend staying here if you go to snow summit since it's super close. I'll be back, new favorite cabin in big bear!

Reality was better then the pictures. We were looking for a property that wasn't the usual old knotty pine cabin, and this house had more then fit the bill. The home was actually better then the pictures, we loved how it was decorated and maintained. The layout is great for a group too - large table, big family room with tv, a great nook for conversations. We stayed in and cooked every meal in part because the kitchen was so great. The hosts were also great to work with, very accommodating, pleasant and quick in communication. We will definitely be back!

The interior decorations and furnitures were stylish and elegant. There were sufficiently many outdoor furnitures in the backyard for our group of 10. The jacuzzi was large too. SoCal responded very quickly whenever we had questions. The next time we go to Big Bear area, we will definitely strongly consider this or other properties managed by SoCal.

Our stay was outstanding. This property was everything stated and more. We called it the bougee cabin. Loved the huge kitchen, the amazing decor, relaxing in the backyard and to top it all off soaking in their super clean jacuzzi. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeous modern house. Private backyard and so spacious. Amazing sleeping arrangements and options. Beautiful open kitchen with every amenity you could think of. Only negatives were only 2 bathrooms for big group. Everything else was great. Can't wait to go back!

I really love this place.
Our family had a wonderful time. It felt like a home that was in architectural digest or a home sales magazines. The pictures do not do it any justice, it was warm cozy, comfy quiant. We usually stay at another cabin located by the summit, when we go up to Big Bear, it is very busy and tons of activities! This home is the complete opposite, but not to far from the village perfect distance also the neighborhood is quiet & very safe the people were super friendly, it felt like we were redwoods! Almost forgot the Maria, Star where very responsive anytime of the day too! The only thing I will say is read the instructions rules change! Big Bear has rule & regulations that over see BNB! I made the mistake of not reading them throughly so that was my fault Maria & Star were understanding & helpful ! They also explained in a kind manner, with no attitude or angst!
Everything was great; the house is awesome.
We all really love the detailed design of each and every piece in the house and welcoming atmosphere. Indeed confidently will refer to anyone to stay and enjoy your staying at this beautiful place. Heater works well, BBQ area was great, spa was indeed the final awesome point for our staying.
