This ground-level suite is conveniently situated at the rear of the lodge, offering direct access from the parking lot, making arrivals and departures effortless.
Upon entering your suite, you'll be greeted by a well-equipped kitchen, ready to inspire your culinary creativity. A gas fireplace exudes a cozy warmth perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Adding a luxurious touch to the suite is a jacuzzi tub located in the front room, promising indulgent relaxation during your stay.
The suite's prime location ensures easy access to an array of amenities. Dining establishments, the Village Theater, cozy coffee shops, boutique shopping, and a convenience store are all within a leisurely stroll. Not to mention the spectacular Big Bear Lake, a hub of fun-filled water activities, lies tantalizingly close.
Sleep comes easy in the tranquil bedroom equipped with a comfortable queen bed, complemented by an ensuite bathroom.

Parking
On-site parking at the property accommodates one vehicle.
According to city ordinance:
- Street parking directly in front of the lodge is permitted.
- However, during snowy conditions, you cannot park on the street.
- It's imperative to avoid leaving vehicles parked, stopped, abandoned, or unattended on any city street.
- There is a large Free Parking area located off of Bartlett, between Beaver Lane & Village Drive if you need additional parking.

Bear Suites Village Inn Rules
Welcome to the rules for Bear Suites Village Inn - Teddy Bear Suite. Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
- Maximum Occupancy: 3 guests (3 adults max).
- Parking: Space for 1 vehicle. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
- Pets: Pets Allowed (Max: 2 pets).
- Pets require pre-approval: Post-approval, a $20 fee per pet applies (charged post-booking).
- Unapproved Pets: incur a minimum of a $1,000 fine.
- Pet Guidelines:
- Kennel pets when unattended.
- Keep off furniture/beds.
- Clean up after them.
- Charges apply for pet damages.
- Coyote Warning: Coyotes are extremely prevalent in Big Bear, even in the most densely populated areas. If you see one, you can bet they’re part of an unseen pack. These animals are bold and territorial. They pose a significant threat to pets. For their safety, never leave your pets unattended, even in fenced areas, especially after dark. Coyotes are known for their ability to overcome barriers, including high fences. And they’re even known for attacking pets that are on a leash. We cannot overstate the need for heightened vigilance concerning your pets' safety.
- Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
- Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction. (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
- Air Conditioning: None. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
- Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
- Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
- Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
- No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
- If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Age: Minimum booking age is 18.
- Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
- Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.
Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.
Note: Any eviction will result in the loss of your security deposit and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

ROMANTIC
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Teddy Bear suite and it was everything we expected. The jacuzzi tub in the living room has a very romantic touch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking/baking. The KING size bed was very comfortable. The upgrades in this room are wonderful. The TV also had most of the apps for our viewing pleasure. The Village is just on the next street over and everything was accessible. I would love to come back and sight see more once this pandemic life is over. It was definitely a nice and well needed getaway. Thank you for the lovely stay Agustin!
CLEAN AND NICE!
This place is awesome! It’s clean and nice ! Love the hot tub and also love the fact that it’s walking distance to the Main Street in big bear where you can find a lot of restaurants and stores ! So we ended up eating 2 mins away and going back to the room where we enjoyed watching a movie since there’s a tv with Netflix, Amazon prime and Hulu which is so cool ! Then the next day we walked to get some breakfast ! 10/10, I recommend !
SOCAL
SoCal - The Village Teddy Bear is just as described. The employees were quick to respond and even let us check out a little later. The private parking lot, and TV access to Netflix was a plus. It had enough towels, a full kitchen, and everything needed during our stay. The location is in The Village area which is walking distance to different restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also a short drive to the park, lake, and hikes.

stayed here for a night with my boyfriend and small dog. The location is great! It’s walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants, and very close to snow summit. We were also able to walk down the street to a park near the lake.

Great Place For A Short Stay
Great value for the night, they have everything you need. Pots, pans, kitchen utensils,drink wear,plates, an oven , toaster microwave and a good size refrigerator. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location is right next to the shops & restaurants ... Great Stay!

“My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Definitely recommend this place to stay for a romantic getaway. The television was a smart tv. We loved the hot tub in the livingroom! The gas fireplace was a great touch. Heat works great! Definitely keep it at 60° or less. It gets really warm. The kitchen was ok. We stayed in the Teddybear Suite and then had the BEST breakfast at The Teddybear Restaurant across the street. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Communication with our host was excellent! *Be sure to arrive before dark. The drive up in the dark almost did me in! Very windy road!”

Awesome Trip
Awesome Trip I was able to call ahead because I was running late and was given a code to check in. Very helpful with unpredictable traffic. There were a lot of amenities that aren't listed. Pots pans, did you forget a knife, need a little bit of oil, salt pepper. A lot of things you wouldn't think of but would need are there. Pizza Slicer!!! Nice place, bed was good, shower pressure good. I can't wait to stay there again. Right downtown you can walk to all the restaurants or the lake is across the street.

The cabin itself is very nice and exactly like the pictures. I fell in love with the fireplace, jacuzzi and big bed. The location is perfect for a fun getaway in Big Bear. We will definitely be returning soon.

In the heart of the village, this spot is walking distance to all you need! Cabin was warm and very clean. Was a bit hard to find, but very easy to get in once we checked in.
The only unfortunatething about our stay is we wish we could've stayed longer.
It was perfect. Clean, comfortable and can't beat the location. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Big Bear. Just hope it isn't booked when we try to visit.

Cute place in the best possible location right in the village.
We loved that we could just walk out the door and have plenty of options for breakfast and dinner, and walk down to the water/playground with our toddler. The host was super friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again!

All three of us loved it. If you're looking for a cozy place that feels like home, this is it. Plus: the location can't be better. It is literary in the center of the Big Bear Village, but still isolated enough to provide peace, quiet and privacy. The last but not the least: very accommodating and responsive host who really cares about their guests. Two thumbs up & can't wait to visit it again!
