Ample parking is available on the charming paver circle driveway, and the inviting lawn and wood bear carving provides the perfect backdrop for your social media snapshots.

This expansive mountain retreat spans over 4,300 square feet, offering six generous bedrooms. 

The home's design strikes a balance between spacious shared spaces and private areas for retreat, ensuring everyone has their own comfortable space.

The heart of the home is a massive gourmet kitchen coupled with a high-end chef’s stove and island seating, perfect for home-cooked meals or late-night snacks. 

Meanwhile, the media den provides an ideal setting for sports enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite games.

The main living area features a pool table, a bar, and a large L-shaped couch for your relaxation and entertainment. 

But it's the backyard that you'll absolutely fall in love with - a large paved patio suitable for morning yoga or outdoor entertaining, complemented by a dedicated children's play area.

Guests’ Rules

Welcome to the rules for The Hideaway Estate Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
 

  1. Maximum Occupancy: 12 guests (10 adults max).
  2. Parking: Space for 6 vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
  3. Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
  4. Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
  5. Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction.  (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
  6. Air ConditioningNone. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
  7. Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
  8. Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
  9. Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
  10. No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
    • If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
  11. Age: Minimum booking age is 24. 
  12. Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
  13. Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.


Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.

Note: Any eviction you will not be entitled to a refund.

Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

Great great place to stay with the family. The home was beautiful inside and outside. The home was very cozy and plenty of room for the kids. The back yard was huge, you don't need to go anywhere for the kids to play. All the room was perfect and the kitchen was to die for.. Thank you for sharing your home with us. This place was perfect we had kids aging from 6 to 15 and they all had plenty of things to do.

This is a gorgeous house.

Perfect for our large family. Lots of space and lots of hang out areas. The kitchen is spacious and very user friendly. The location is perfect and easy to get to. Lots of parking space too. The host and management company were very responsive and helpful and so nice!

Honestly it was such a huge and beautiful home.

It was perfect for my baby's birthday party. My fav part was that almost every room had a sliding door to step out to the backyard. The trees helped with the area to stay cool. All the beautiful windows/

I highly recommend this confortable place for groups of 14.

The site suggests to write a few words about our stay. I thing all the great memories and attractiveness of the house could not fit in here. The description of the property does not make honor to the excellent place we stayed at. The ample bedrooms, the uptodate furniture, the professional fixtures, all contribute to spending a great long weekend with family. This 2.5 acre property allows for a lot of outdoor activities, the lot is leveled, so you can play and play and play. One of the most important things to highlight is the communication with management. They returned the email in minutes for many little questions we had. The trip saddly ended, but Sunday night and Monday morning the group is wanting a date to return.
