Cedar Crest features an open-concept floor plan that accentuates the high, vaulted wood ceilings. A spacious kitchen equipped with granite counters and a large island provides additional seating, creating a perfect setting for socializing while preparing meals. 

The modern amenities in this tastefully styled home ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for you and your guests.

Each bedroom is generously proportioned and well-appointed, offering a cozy retreat at the end of the day. The living room is complete with a plush L-shaped couch and a gas-burning fireplace, promising cozy nights staying in with loved ones.

Guests’ Rules

Welcome to the rules for Cedar Crest Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
 

  1. Maximum Occupancy: 7 guests (7 adults max).
  2. Parking: Space for 3 vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
  3. Pets: No pets allowed. If this rule is violated, you will receive a minimum of a $1,000 fine and eviction.
  4. Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
  5. Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction.  (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
  6. Air ConditioningNone. Enjoy natural mountain breezes through open windows.
  7. Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
  8. Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
  9. Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
  10. No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
    • If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
  11. Age: Minimum booking age is 24. 
  12. Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
  13. Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.


Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.

Note: Any eviction you will not be entitled to a refund.

Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

My family enjoyed the stay at the Cedar Crest cabin.

The rooms were comfortable, the open layout of the kitchen/living room/dining room was perfect for our toddler, who enjoyed running and up down the hallways! The house was super clean and well stocked with the basic necessities. It was great to have a kitchen with all the basic needs (e.g., plates, cups, pots & pans, and coffee maker with ground coffee, sugar and creamer). We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would come back to stay ourselves!

This is a beautiful home.

Looks brand new. Spotless with beautiful decor. Very homey and comfortable. Heater worked great. Fully stocked with supplies. Back yard was private. Great centralized location easy drive anywhere. Professional and friendly management. Felt like home away from home. Would definitely stay there again! In-person check in was new for us it is definitely worth noting there is parking behind the building where you have to check-in.

The house was impressively new and spotlessly clean, which was a joy to see. If I could, I'd definitely give this place more than 5 stars. Highly recommend!
