Welcome to The Hidden Estate, a one-of-a-kind vacation retreat nestled in the peaceful pine groves of Big Bear Lake. Surrounded by trees, this unique 3,500 square-foot property, set on a sprawling 1.5 acres of natural splendor, promises a luxury experience unlike any other, accentuated by central air conditioning, a rare find in the area.
Everything at this home is designed for your convenience and enjoyment. The hot tub is just a few steps away, perfect for immediate relaxation. As the quintessential Big Bear vacation destination, this home has it all - spacious living areas, exceptional amenities, and a prime location. It’s the perfect blend of comfort and luxury, making it an unparalleled choice for a memorable family vacation.
Upon arrival, you’ll enter the world of lavish living on the ground floor. This space welcomes you to a vast, airy kitchen and lounge area, fitted with comfortable leather couches.
Adjacent is the first of the seven bedrooms, the primary, equipped with a queen bed, private gas fireplace, and a luxurious ensuite featuring a shower and jacuzzi tub. Bedrooms two and three offer a queen bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed respectively.
The ground floor also plays host to a movie room, boasting a state-of-the-art 75" 4K HDTV and an ultra-plush lounge couch with many movie titles for your family to enjoy. In a separate dedicated space, immerse yourself in the world of billiards, under the watchful eyes of an impressive taxidermy collection.
Step outside to a large deck, showcasing a new 4-burner Weber BBQ and a Komodo-style smoker from the top-tier Alfresco brand stand ready for your culinary adventures. The patio is adorned with luxurious furniture, including a generously sized dining table, perfect for alfresco family meals. Also situated on the patio is a strategically positioned, high-end hot tub, inviting you to unwind while taking in the breathtaking views.
The upper level continues to impress with a selection of four bedrooms. Room four is perfect for the young ones, featuring twin-over-twin log-style bunk beds, a 50" HDTV, and an Xbox for endless fun. Bedroom five offers a queen bed and a 50" HDTV, while bedroom six houses a full bed and another 50" HDTV.
Bedroom seven transforms into a private game room and wet bar, offering a twin-over-full futon bunk bed, 4K HDTV, bumper pool table, wall-sized Scrabble, and a variety of other games.
Adding to the excitement, a top-of-the-line foosball table awaits in the breezeway, ready to spark family competition. Then, after a day of play, retreat to the outdoor hot tub for a soothing soak under the stars or enjoy the private sledding hill come winter.

Guests’ Rules
Welcome to the rules for The Hidden Estate Our aim is to maintain a harmonious environment that aligns with local Code Compliance and respects the comfort of all guests. As part of this effort, we've established some friendly but firm and inflexible house guidelines.
- Maximum Occupancy: 16 guests (12 adults max).
- Parking: Space for 5 vehicles, including garage access. Exceeding the limit may result in fines of up to $1,000.
- Pets: Pets allowed. (Max:2 pets)
- Pets Require Pre-approval: post-approval, A $125 pet fee pet pet applies (Charged post-booking)
- Unapproved Pets: incur a minimum of a $1,000 fine.
Pet Guidelines:
Kennel pets when unattended.
Keep off furniture/beds.
Clean up after them.
Charges apply for pet damages.
- Check-In: Conducted at The Village Office for a warm welcome and local code compliance.
- Noise: Quiet hours from 9 pm to 8 am. You are not allowed to be outside, in a hot tub, play music or create any noise from inside of the residence that could be heard outside of the home. If these rules are violated, Code Enforcement could impose fines of up to $1,000 or eviction. (We have no control over Code Enforcement’s decisions.)
- Air Conditioning: Yes there's A/C
- Ants: Sometimes our ants can be a bit over-friendly. To keep these small visitors at bay, we suggest promptly cleaning up right after each meal and don’t leave food out. (We do use ant bait & ant traps… and the ants tend to look at those as snacks.)
- Trash: You are mandated by ordinance to dispose of your trash at the designated trash site. If you require assistance, we can arrange a pick-up service for a nominal fee.
- Video Surveillance & Noise Monitors: We employ external video surveillance and noise monitors at most of our properties. (We do not have video or audio monitoring inside of the residences.)
- No Smoking/Vaping: We have a very strict No Smoking and/ or No Vaping policy on the grounds of all of our properties.
- If any guest smokes or vapes on the premises during their stay, a minimum cleaning fee of $750 will be charged automatically to the Credit Card on file to cover the cost of carpets cleaning, dry cleaning of all bedspreads, curtains, etc. And the security deposit will be forfeited.
- Age: Minimum booking age is 24.
- Parties: No parties allowed; parties will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
- Communication: For questions or concerns, we're available via phone or email.
Note: Code Enforcement enforces all of the ordinances in Big Bear Lake. We have no control over the decisions they make, up to and including fines and evictions.
Note: Any eviction you will not be entitled to a refund.
Note: Based upon availability and to provide flexibility for our guests, we offer early check-in and late check-out options. There is a fee associated with this service. If you’d like to check in before the usual time, please inquire with front desk, as well for late check-out.

Stayed with a few friends for a golf weekend/getaway. Perfect house for that. Lots of rooms so nobody sleeps on the couch. House was clean, had everything we could have needed, and I have zero complaints about the house. Only minor gripe would be that the check-in process requires you go to their office in downtown and fill out all the same paperwork you already did online. It's inconvenient, but the people are super nice and were great with co-ordinating around our plans to make it work. We look forward to returning here one day.

Everything was clean when we arrived. There were a few things not working, which they promptly came and took care of as soon as we let them know. There was plenty of space to hang out in with lots of furniture, and the property was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing home, was able to check in early and check out a little later. It's hard with a big group of adults and kids. We all fit and loved staying here.
In short, I have booked for a third time with SoCal vacations and they never disappoint.
This last time I booked for Hidden Estate and it's the best one so far. Very attentive staff that helped me throughout my stay, answered all my questions in less than an hour each. Not a complaint but the only problem I had was with the malfunctioning hot tub, but maintenance was able to fix the issue a day later. Overall great vacation!

After our original Airbnb host canceled our reservation we had mere hours to find another cabin. I was so happy to find this cabin and book it quickly. We had 5 families coming in from all over, including out of state. I needed a house that would accommodate 10 adults and 7 kids! This house ended up being perfect. Everyone had a bed and there were plenty of bathrooms. The upstairs set up was awesome….it was like having two separate wings! The neighborhood was quiet, we loved the hot tub and deck outside.

The house is much prettier than the pictures!! The location is perfect, to rest away from the noise, you move perfectly by car, all about 5-6 minutes away,the house is enjoyed very much and everyone has their space,. My family and friends are definitely coming back many times, this house I recommend it 100 %!! The response from the host is wonderful and solves any questions and inconveniences as soon as possible. Close to everything , fully equipped kitchen for those of us who like to cook , The house looks like new , Comfortable beds, Huge Patio for children to play , Jacuzzi all working perfectly . We'll definitely wash it next year.

Great place, location, beautiful surroundings, check in was easy, big home and comfortable space enough for our large family of 16. The game room was an added bonus for the kids. Multiple times every year we come up with our family and this is the nicest, biggest, most updated, private, enough parking, most rooms and beds you can ask for. This home was on another level!! You can tell they had it professional decorated for Christmas, we felt like we were in a movie. It was unreal. Everything is brand new and great quality was invested into this home. The hosts were excellent and the check in was super fast, some other places we have stayed at had a super long line to check in and it took forever waiting because the home wasn't ready yet. Not here! No line and the check in office felt more like a concierge service. professional and super kind! We will be back next year and every year. So happy we found your beautiful home. Thanks again!!

House is well maintained, kitchen well stocked, Weber BBQ was really nice, clean linen/towels, garage access for 3 cars - very convenient, central A/C (separate controls for upstairs and downstairs), and property management very responsive. The family loved the poker table and pool table. We even got 90 year grandma to try pool for the first time.
Lovely cabin
We were 12 of us and an infant. Well maintained, lots of beds and lots of space. Kitchen is well stocked with a variety of utensils. Run very professionally and they didn't have us do anything except put the dishes in the dishwasher and take the garbage out. I appreciate that a lot in large cabins!
